In Memoriam

"So Proudly They Served"
Eternal Rest, Grant Unto Them, Oh Lord,
Let perpetual light shine upon them,
May Their Souls and All the Souls of the Faithful Departed,
through the mercy of God, Rest in peace.
Amen

"We, who remain to carry on should not think of our
shipmates who have departed from us after WWII,
but rather they have been transferred to a celestial ship
or station, where we hope all of us
may be shipmates again."

  1. Please keep this page up. the USS Braine with SF3c Chester Dudzinski was en route to reunite with his Police-widowed sister-in-law; and in his last letter he was excited to see my sister and me -- in 1944 we were 5 and 1. Now in our 80's we appreciate that his name survives with the honor that all of these men deserve.
    Thank you. Michele Lipinski Matuszewski
